ARTIST’S STATEMENT

I love people, everything about people, which is why most of my art centres on people. I appreciate the beauty of this wonderful creation by God Almighty! I love to portray the human figure in different moods and in different conditions of lighting. My goal is to bring out the beauty of whatever I portray.

I love the day to day life scenes, I love African Art and the beauty of the African Woman, I love children and the innocence they possess within. All these themes often show up in the work I do.

My real passion lies in sketching as I always sketch people everyday when I use public transport – it’s a wonderful experience and this keeps my passion for people flowing.

I think I am greatly blessed to be bestowed this wonderful talent by the Lord God Almighty and it is my utmost desire to glorify Him in whatever I do.
